  • Fabian Rayne
    REGISTERED KINESIOLOGIST: R.Kin, CSEP-CEP

    Fabian is the President and CEO of FabYourLife Inc., a multidisciplinary health and wellness company in Markham, Ontario.  A celebrated football star at his alma mater, the University of Western Ontario, Fabian graduated in 2000 with an Honours Degree in Kinesiology, where he specialized in Exercise Physiology.

    Fabian has been practicing as a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario since April 2013. Recognized for his leadership and dedication to his field, Fabian has served on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Kinesiology Association. Fabian is also bringing his knowledge and experience to the classroom as an Instructor at Humber College in the Fitness and Health Promotion Program and the Kinesiology program at the University of Guelph-Humber.

    A proponent of the total body “Peripheral Adaptive Approach” to exercise training, Fabian conducts research and participates in a variety of professional development courses that focus on functional assessment, therapeutic exercise, movement impaired syndromes, and core training. Fabian’s scope of practice reaches individuals at all health and fitness levels including young adults, seniors, amateurs and professional athletes.

  • Dr. Alwyn Wong
    CHIROPRACTOR

    With over 20 years in the health and fitness industry, Dr. Alwyn Wong brings a wealth of experience to the table, both literally and figuratively. Using an integrated treatment approach, including chiropractic, acupuncture, active release techniques (ART), combined with his knowledge of exercise prescription and nutrition, his goals are simple. Reduce your pain, improve your function, and provide you with the tools to be healthy on your own.

    He has travelled throughout North America treating professional and Olympic athletes, as well as teaching industry professionals through his company, Zona Health and performance, focusing on functional and applied anatomy. He published a nutrition book in 2011 entitled, The Kick Acid Diet. It serves as a step-by-step guide for individuals who desire to improve their health by managing the acid-alkaline balance in their body.

  • Geneviève Mailloux
    REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST: RMT, BHSc

    A graduate of D’Arcy Lane Institute in London Ontario, Geneviève Mailloux has been practicing massage therapy since 2005. Prior to studying massage therapy, she worked as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner for 3 years.  Geneviève recently completed her Bachelor Degree in Health Science at Thompson Rivers University. Her extensive background in health sciences has given her a great understanding of the human body.

    Geneviève’s clinical experience includes treating chronic pain syndromes, postural abnormalities, and many other day-to-day ailments of today’s technologically bound population. She has also had the opportunity to treat repetitive strains and injuries associated with sports such as football, rugby, soccer, golf, competitive weightlifting and running. In addition to practicing massage therapy, Geneviève is a Massage Therapy Professor at Humber College.

  • CHRISTINA FOGG
    CERTIFIED ATHLETIC THERAPIST: CAT(C), R.Kin, B.Sc, dip SIM

    Christina Fogg graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours Degree in Human Kinetics and obtained her diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College. She has been a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2006, and has since worked with various athletes, from recreational to national levels. She has worked closely with Rugby Canada, Rugby Ontario, Markham Irish Rugby Club and Pine Ridge High School Rugby.

    She also provided athletic therapy at the Canada Cup International Wrestling Tournament and many other high schools, local, provincial and national tournaments. Christina has extensive experience treating sports injuries and strives to get athletes back to their sports in a timely manner. In addition to her clinical practice, Christina is currently completing her course work to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is working on her thesis.

  • CHARLENE HASTED
    REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST: RMT

    Charlene Hasted is a graduate of Everest College and has been practicing massage therapy since 2011. Her interest in massage therapy stemmed from many years of playing baseball and seeing various athletic injuries on the field.

    Since graduating, Charlene has worked in various clinical settings and gained valuable experience treating athletic injuries, motor vehicle accidents, pregnant women, seniors and teens. While she specializes in therapeutic interventions to maintain and enhance performance, Charlene’s previous experience in spas ensures that relaxation remains an integral component of her treatments. Charlene strives to attain the best possible outcomes for her clients and tailors her treatments to meet their goals and lifestyle.

  • Muthu Murugesan
    REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST: PT, HBPT, ESLM

    Muthu graduated with an Honors Degree in Physiotherapy in 2010 and has been practicing as a Registered Physiotherapist since July 2013. Muthu is a member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He also completed his postgraduate studies in the Exercise Science & Lifestyle Management Program at Humber College in 2011.

    Muthu joined the Fab Your Life team in 2011 and his clinical practice includes a broad spectrum of techniques including manual skills, specific individualized exercise programs, electrotherapy modalities and injury prevention strategies, to help relieve pain and augment function. Through detailed assessments, focused treatment plans and patient education, Muthu helps his clients return to pre-injury activities in a timely fashion and ensures they have the knowledge to prevent reoccurrence of injuries.

  • Imad Gholami-Shaker
    REGISTERED KINESIOLOGIST: R.Kin

    Imad graduated from the University of Guelph-Humber with an Honours degree in Applied Science in Kinesiology, as well as a Diploma from Humber College in Fitness and Health Promotion. He began his coaching career as a Certified Personal Training Specialist in 2017 and has since become a Registered Kinesiologist in 2019.

    His main focus is to help any individual seeking to improve their fitness and overall well-being. He also specializes in Elite Sport Performance with a personal background and focus on Soccer, as well as Powerlifting. Imad has experience working with Toronto FC’s first and second team, as well as all ages of the Academy program as a Sports Scientist. He also assists with Canada’s U17 women’s soccer EXCEL program as a Strength and Conditioning coach, combined with his time assisting multiple practitioners at the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario.

  • Justin Achat
    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Justin is a Resident Physiotherapist who completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queens University. He joins the FYL team with 8 years of experience as a Certified Exercise Physiologist and former Registered Kinesiologist. Justin’s background in treating orthopedic injury, pre/post-operative rehabilitation, and performance optimization has shaped his passion for helping others restore function and achieve wellness. In addition, he advocates for a multidisciplinary approach to patient-centred care, which aligns well with the collaborative service model offered at FYL. At the clinic, his treatment is centered around therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, and lifestyle modification. He looks forward to using his skills and expertise to improve your mobility, function, and overall live a more inspired life.

  • Emilia Cotter
    Registered Health & Exercise Practitioner

    Emilia is a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Health & Exercise Practitioner at Fab your Life. During her time at McGill University, Emilia served as team captain of the women’s varsity ice hockey team. She won 2 provincial gold medals and attended nationals 4 times achieving 2 silver medals. Growing up as an athlete herself, Emilia knows what it takes to be successful in sport. She has trained with and among some of the greatest female hockey players, including Olympians, NCAA and USPORTS athletes. Emilia focuses on personalization of programs and building good habits at a young age. She is extremely dedicated to her clients and their success and will go above and beyond to ensure that they have an amazing training experience. She loves to push people to be the best they can be both on and off the field of play.

  • Stephanie Small
    Registered Dietician

    Stephanie completed her Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degrees in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition from Florida State University. Stephanie has a special interest in performance at all ages, sports nutrition, and metabolism. She has been able to work at highly accredited sports performance and military research labs across the US and Canada. Stephanie has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian since September 2020 and is currently accredited with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and Alberta, and the Commission of Dietitians of the U.S.

    Stephanie has had the opportunity to be able to work with a variety of different recreation and professional athletes including NFL, Division 1 College Football, soccer, cross country, rugby, marathoners, triathletes, and military personnel. Stephanie utilizes a client-centred, evidence-based approach to address individual athletes’ needs and works alongside the medical team to ensure optimal performance, recovery, and health of an athlete. In practice, Stephanie’s scope of practice includes individuals at a variety of health and fitness levels, because at some level we are all athletes.

    Stephanie continues to expand her career in research by working towards her Ph.D. in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto focusing on carbohydrate metabolism and muscle physiology in oncology care. Outside of the clinic, Stephanie enjoys long runs, powerlifting, trying new foods, spending time on the water, or diving into a good book.
